…yes, too many…
When I was younger, I got to listen on the radio when they were first being heard by the masses. Then, my favorites were "Strange Magic" and "Can't Get It Out Of My Head" and "Evil Woman." If you listen, it sounds like they are singing "Medieval Woman" every time! That's the way I like to sing it to this day.
Now that I'm older, I like "Mission" and "One Summer Dream." That last one makes me remember alot of good things from my youth.
But when I listen to "Mission" I visualise a very compassionate and friendly alien guy, wandering the Earth inside some city, knowing he has become stuck here until he dies, and nobody knows because he looks human. He smiles but rarely speaks, just observes us as an outsider and is alone here and sad alot. And never gives up hope that his kind may find him and contact him; otherwise, his secret will die with him.
I like the concept, and sometimes feel like I am also on a "Mission." Perhaps we all are.
Oh, and ELO stands for EVERYBODY LOVES ORGANIC
