I loved them as well…They are still going in a way with their website, and they played a venue near me a few years ago.

No, I liked the ELO, too … especially their Christmas albums. ALL of their stuff was ‘easy listening’ and not very ‘intellectual’ but it was still ‘good music’ that was about halfway between ‘rock’ and ‘classical’ and therefore was ‘very listenable’ to me, since I love both and want something that IS BOTH at the same time, sometimes.

They were overexposed. And commercialized.

I am a HUGE fan of ELO/Jeff Lynne. Hanging out with Jeff is the last item on my “before I die” list. Jeff’s music has been an important part of my entire life.
I’ve met Beatles… movie stars… world leaders… and I’ve even met Jeff – for about 2 minutes. But to be able to spend a few minutes with the guy to express thanks and to ask a few questions is #1 on my most-wanted experiences.
So are you the only fan? Nope.
