I’m going to buck the majority. ELO (at least prior to the disco era). Rockaria one of the greatest albums of all time.

Queen. Even when ELO tackled "serious" music like on their album And On The Third Day they had a sort of bubble-gum quality to their work whereas Brian May’s classical training shone through for Queen even on "light" pieces like Bicycle Race.

Yah, these two aren’t comparable. Both great.

It’s hard to forget ELO’s Xanadu tracks, I think I have that on LP somewhere : )

    Queen.

But what is wrong with some of you people? Sting was in The Police, not ELO. And you can’t tell you’ve never heard of "Evil Woman", "Strange Magic", or "Sweet Talkin’ Women". "Mr. Blue Sky" has been used for countless TV ads too. Scratch that…..It’s time to give a little love to ELO.

I’m changing my vote to ELO!!!
