    Probably KC and the Sunshine Band, Bon Jovi, and Whitesnake. KC was on the radio and my sister owned cassettes of the other two, which I would constantly borrow.

    I liked the Rubettes. Sugar Baby Love was a great hit for them in the UK back in 1974!

    When I actually started thinking, the first groups I got into were probably the Doors and the Clash. These were also the first that I still like now.

    the beatles, and most of the pop groups popular in the mid 60’s. then the grateful dead came along and i have been on the bus ever since. also, the james gang was a big favorite of mine, and should i say it, i liked three dog night also.

    the first group i ever got into was AC/DC. i was flipping through the radio station when i was about 7 and one of there songs came on, i’ve never been the same since…

    1974: I had been into the 2-part harmonies of Simon & Garfunkel for a few years. A friend put on a Warner Bros. records sampler lp. I heard "Purple Haze" by the Jimi Hendrix Experience-and it rocked my world!
