Just a group of 60′s and 70′s bands that I rarely if ever see mentioned on here

Jethro Tull
The Moody Blues
Steely Dan
Bad Company
Three Dog Night
The Byrds
Buffalo Springfield
Crosby, Stills, Nash (and Young)
The Band
Electric Light Orchestra
Bob Seger

I think they are all good bands, and are not really recognized on here, so what do you think?

I love Bad Company so much I can’t stand it.
I also love Tull, ELO, and Seger.
BC is just so much farther out there.

    Hellz yeahh!!!

  • blacktiremarks:

Not much of a Steely Dan fan, but the rest of you list I like a lot especially Bad Company and Bob Seger. I agree they don’t get recognized much on here.

  • Eric Forman is a mean one...:

Yes, I know. Byrds, Buffalo Springfield and Bob Seger are all great.

I Love STEELY DAN- Peg is a masterpiece, and I love the idea of jazz/rock fusion, much of their music is very much bebop oriented.
Love The Band as well- I actually had The Weight playing on my i-Tunes when I opened this question.
Thick as a Brick by Jehtro Tull is great too, still have the actual album of it.

I mention The Band every frickn day on here, buddy!!!!!. Lol. They are my number one band and have been for years.

I see Tull and csn a lot on there too. I pretty much dig all those bands on your list except for Bob Seger and ELO.
