They’re pretty good, but I think their music started going downhill around 1976…they were less progressive and more disco. Jeff Lynne is a fantastic songwriter and a great ‘falsetto’ singer, if you know what I mean.

    My favorites:
    "Kuiama"
    "Roll Over Beethoven"
    "10538 Overture"
    "In Old England Town"
"From the Sun to the World"
    "El Dorado"
    "Fire on High"
    "Showdown"
    "Ma-ma-ma Belle"
    "Boy Blue"
"Can’t Get it Out of My Head"
    "Strange Magic"

  • Rocky:

Right here. Evil Woman is my favorite.

I know there’s a lot more than this, but I’ve been partial to the album Discovery (1979) lately. My fave tracks are:
    1. Shine a Little Love
    2. Last Train to London
    3. The Diary of Horace Wimp
    4. Confusion

The rest of the record is awesome, but those are stand-outs to me.

  • Dave c.:

    discovery
    secret messages
    on the third day

ELO ,i love every album and every song on em.
